Gibara is a left-hand reef break (dead coral bottom) that works at all points of the tide. This spot in Rafael Freyre (Holguin) gets its best conditions with a south-westerly breeze and a north-westerly to north-easterly swell. Gibara only starts working with a swell of around 1ft and can hold shape with swell of up to around 4ft.
