Playa Cocles is a fairly consistent left-hand reef break (dead coral bottom) that works at all points of the tide. This spot in Limon (Costa Rica) gets its best conditions with a south-westerly breeze and a north-easterly to easterly swell. Playa Cocles only starts working with a swell of around 3ft and can hold shape with swell of up to around 6ft.
